A portable power station is an all-in-one battery pack with a built-in inverter and outputs. It stores electricity in a lithium battery and lets you power compatible devices via AC sockets and USB ports.

What is the difference between the 1kWh and 2kWh models?+

The 1kWh (VEP05K-10B) has 1004.8Wh capacity with a 500W pure sine wave inverter. The 2kWh (VEP1K-20B) has 2009.6Wh capacity with a 1000W inverter, 600W MPPT solar input, dual AC sockets and quieter operation.

Can I use a Vestwoods power station during a blackout?+

Yes. Both models are designed as portable backup power for compatible devices. The UPS switch-over time is less than 20 ms.
